Description
The outcome
A focused connection between your backend and one external service. The implementation treats remote systems as fallible: authentication, idempotency, retry behaviour and useful logging are considered alongside the success response.
A useful starting boundary
Good examples are receiving one signed webhook, pushing one event to a fulfilment system or reading one well-defined resource from a vendor API.
Delivery flow
- Scope confirmation. We translate the order into one input, one output and one acceptance condition.
- Implementation. The agreed change is built against the existing environment or a clearly documented local substitute.
- Review. Behaviour, failure paths and the agreed acceptance condition are checked before handoff.
- Handoff. Source code, configuration notes and the next operational risk are delivered to your team.
What we need from you
Vendor documentation, sandbox credentials where available, the internal trigger and target data shape, expected failure behaviour and a safe test environment.
Boundaries and exclusions
It excludes an entire CRM or ERP migration, undocumented data reconciliation, vendor subscription fees and open-ended support for upstream API changes. Additional workflows can be purchased as distinct tasks.
Important: checkout reserves the product and starts the scope conversation. A KernelNest Labs team member contacts you before implementation to confirm access, acceptance and delivery. Questions can be sent to contact@kernelnestlabs.io.
